Description: Non-Resident Insurance Producers are salespeople licensed in another state who desire to sell insurance in Oregon.

Duration: 2 Years
Fees - application, exam, etc.:  Initial: $30, plus $45 license fee.
Renewal: $45 if postmarked by the license expiration date. After the license expiration date, an additional $45 penalty is due.

Continuing Ed Requirements: Information for Insurance Agent/Producers
Registered CE Providers (called Registered Proctors). To find online providers do a google.com search on either "CE providers" or "continuing Oregon education" (without the quotes).
Bonding Requirements: None
Insurance Requirements: None
Prerequisites: 1. Cannot be a resident of Oregon.
2. Be licensed in home state for classes of insurance applying for in Oregon.
Application Form: NAIC Uniform Application.
Renewals: Letter of certification is required if the agent's licensing information is not on the National Insurance Producer Registry. If either the letter of certification or renewal fee is not postmarked by the license expiration date, an additional $45 penalty
