Description: Any person who owns, or is in charge of, five or more colonies of bees located in Oregon is required to register with the State Department of Agriculture.
Statutes, Rules, Ordinances: ORS 602
OAR 603-055
Duration: 1 year (June 1-May 31)
Fees - application, exam, etc.:  $10.00 for five or more colonies
For late registrations (after July 1) the fee doubles to $20
Responsible Agency: Agriculture Department
Fee Exemptions: Registration is not required for 1-4 colonies
