| Description: |
Electrologists, through a series of treatments, permanently remove hair from the skin by inserting a sterile needle-conductor into the hair follicle and directing electrical energy toward the hair cell. Electrologists work in beauty salons, in collaboration with dermatologists, and in private practice. |

| Renewals: |
Application for renewal shall be made in advance of the expiration date, which is the last day of the month one year from the date the license was issued. |
| Duplicate: |
A duplicate, or replacement, license is issued only if the original document has been lost, stolen, disfigured or destroyed and if conditions outlined in OAR 331-525-0030 are met. |
