Engineer Prequalification

This program requires that any consulting engineering firm that intends to compete for engineering contracts for municipal water supply or wastewater projects that are to receive federal or state funding assistance, must be prequalified. The intent of the prequalification program is to ensure that engineering firms which vie for municipal water or wastewater projects, using federal or state financial assistance, have the experience and capability to satisfactorily complete those contracts.

Prequalification requirements apply to all consulting engineering firms that wish to be listed on the roster of prequalified consulting engineering firms Adobe Acrobat Reader Symbol. This list is maintained by DES for use by all municipalities who wish to solicit proposals for engineering services for water supply and water pollution control projects that utilize state or federal financial assistance.
