Initial: Application Fee is$50 plus an additional license fee of $75 (if the license is issued between November 1 of an even-numbered year and the following September 1), or $150 otherwise.
Renewal: $150. Renewal fee is $75 if the license is issued between November 1 of an even-numbered year and the following October 31; such renewal involves a late fee. When a license has been unrenewed for more than two years, it must be restarted as an "initial" license. |

The Board recognizes the examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and the passing score set up by CDR as the Board's examination. Please contact the Commission on Dietetic Registration for exam information. |
Continuing Ed Requirements: |
Current registration with the Commision on Dietetic Registration. Applicants for renewal of licenses must provide documentation of having met continuing education requirements by providing the Board a copy of current registration card or evidence of 30 hours per biennial licensure period of continuing education approved by the Board. Applicants who have completed the required hours of continuing education which are approved by the Commission of Dietetic Registration are deemed to have met the continuing education required by the Board. |

Prerequisites: |
1. 4-year college degree in nutrition, dietetics, or food systems management. 2. Internship or equivalent. 3. Passed national competency exam. 4. Meets mandatory requirements for continuing professional education. 5. Upholds a code of ethics and meets standards of practice of the American Dietetic Association. |
