Description: A temporary limited installer license allows persons to prepare the site and install manufactured dwellings, cabanas, and skirting. This work must be performed under the direct supervision of a licensed installer. A Manufactured dwelling includes residential trailer, mobile home, manufactured home and manufactured structure.

Duration: 60 days
Fees - application, exam, etc.:  $10.00
Responsible Agency: BCD - Manufactured Dwellings
Examination Information: No exam required
Prerequisites:
  • The license shall be in the personal possession of the licensee at all times that the licensee is working as a temporary installer; and
  • Each temporary license application form shall be completed, dated, and signed by the applicant on the first date of work by the person to whom the license is issued. The white copy shall be mailed to Building Codes Division within 24 hours of the day the licensee signs the application.
