Description: Permits needed for removing or filling 50 cubic yards or more of materials from waterways, lakes, wetlands, the Territorial Sea and certain ditches and artifically created water bodies. Permits required for any removal or fill in state scenic waterways and essential salmon habitat streams.

Additional Information: Many projects also require a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers permit. DSL and the Corps use the same application form. Either agency may require a permit when the other does not.
