Usually the administration of the building code, and permit and inspection services are accomplished by the local cities and counties. In some counties, it is accomplished by the State Building Codes Division. Depends on the type of work you will be doing. A 1,200 sq ft home averages a fee of $30. Check your jurisdiction for more information.
