Description: An Underground Storage Tank General Permit Registration Certificate to Install must be obtained prior to installing a tank that will hold a regulated substance. The underground storage tank (UST) being installed must meet the requirements of the general permit.

Duration: Expires upon issuance of an operation certificate
Fees - application, exam, etc.:  $135 per tank or tank compartment, effective January 2008, plus a $400 per tank or tank compartment installation fee

Bonding Requirements: None
Insurance Requirements: Proof of compliance with financial responsibility required before fuel delivery.
