Description: |
The state regulates off-premise advertising signs that are visible to state highways and some former state highways ('on-premise' is specifically defined in OAR 734-059-0005). Those who are in the business of constructing, operating, leasing or selling off-premise advertising structures intended for the use of others, on ODOT regulated highways, are required to have this permit. Those who operate a sign only for their own business or activity do not need this license.
