| Description: |
The assistant racing secretary helps the racing secretary with: custody and safekeeping of horse papers and ownership documents; forming races; compiling a list of entries; keeping a complete record of all races; publishing, printing and accuracy of the race program; writing the condition book; records for media; communication with the stewards. |

| Fees - application, exam, etc.: |
- All ORC licenses cost $30 for the initial 3-year license, and then $2 per year for each additional license category.
- All "add on" licenses will expire at the same time as the initial license.
- Renewals are processed exacly like the initial application.
- Duplicate licenses are $5 per year left until expiration of the original license.
- All applications are considered pending until they are reviewed by the stewards / judges.
- The application fee is not refundable, even if the license is denied.
