| Description: |
An Executive manager has the authority to act on behalf of the company or business in matters of licensure and certification. A Supervisory Manager, has a primary responsibility of the management of certified private security providers. Both the executive and Supervisory Managers have the authority to issue temporary work permits. The Executive Manager shall have ultimate responsibility for compliance with ORS 181.870 - 181.991.

| Continuing Ed Requirements: |
4 hour manager refresher training, offered only through DPSST at the time of renewal. Not to be taken more then 90 days prior to expiration. |

| Prerequisites: |
Managers and supervisors must meet the required standards for certification including an application process, Criminal history background check, and requried training. Managers and supervisors who will perform the duties of a security officer in addition to their supervisory or manager duties must complete the required training for the corresponding officer certification, and be certified in all applicable categories. (i.e. An executive manager holding a post and providing the manditory training must also be certified as an officer and instructor. ) |
