Registration of non-operating cemeteries with the Oregon Mortuary and Cemetery Board is required for compliance with Oregon Laws.
Statutes, Rules, Ordinances: ORS 692.275
OAR 830-040
Duration: As long as cemetery is not performing interments.
Fees - application, exam, etc.:  No fee shall be required of a cemetery registrant.
Responsible Agency: Mortuary and Cemetery Board
Prerequisites: Complete and return the Cemetery Licensing / Registration Questionnaire to the Oregon Mortuary and Cemetery Board office.

In order for the cemetery to be registered with the Oregon Mortuary and Cemetery Board as a Registered Cemetery, the cemetery cannot be operating (performing interments) and cannot have a burial before February 14, 1909.
