| Continuing Ed Requirements: |
Continuing education (CE) is a requirement for renewal of a Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in Oregon. Licensees may hold either an "Active" or "Inactive" license depending on their employment status. The following provides the CE requirement for renewing licenses:
- Active License: 60 hours (55 general hours + 5 ethics hours)
- Inactive License: 30 hours (27 general hours + 3 ethics hours).
- Initial License: Continuing education hours are pro-rated for initial NHA licenses. The continuing education requirement will range from 0 hours to 60 hours depending on the issue date of the license.
