Description: Businesses that emit or have the potential to emit greater than 100 tons per year of criteria pollutants: Carbon monoxide (CO), Nitrious Oxide (NOx), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Particulate matter (PM10) and lead (Pb); or greater than 10 tons per year of an individual Hazardous Air Pollutant (HAP), or greater than 25 tons per year of more than one Hazardous Air Pollutant (HAP) are subject to a Title V permit.

A Title V permit organizes, in one document, all air quality requirements that apply to the permit holder.
