This license is required for food processing, conducted in an area which is part of a domestic kitchen, the product of which is meant for sale for personal profit.
Food Processing means the cooking, baking, heating, drying, mixing, grinding, churning, separating, extracting, cutting, freezing or otherwise manufacturing a food or changing the physical characteristics of a food, and the packaging, canning or otherwise enclosing of such food in a container, but does not mean the sorting, cleaning or water-rinsing of a food.

Food Safety Division license fee structure License fees are not prorated. License is not transferable to new owner. With prior approval of the department, the location of a licensed food establishment, may be moved without the requirement of a new license if there is no change in the ownership or business entity. |
