Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) assist licensed nursing personnel in the provision of nursing care. Oregon has two levels of CNAs (CNA 1 and CNA 2), with distinct curriculum requirements, evaluation methods and authorized duties. CNA 2's can perform the same scope of dities as a CNA 1 with additional care levels.
At present, there are three CNA 2 categories: 1) Acute Care 2) Dementia Care 3) Rehabilitative Care.
