Description: Required of any boat, vessel, or floating craft used in taking food fish or shellfish for commercial purposes, except clams and crayfish. Boat licenses are not required to take fish for bait under a bait fishing license (see Bait Fishing License). This license is not transferable to another boat. The residential status of the vessel owner determines whether the vessel qualifies for a resident or a nonresident boat license.
