Description: |
An Application to Register (ATR) must be completed and submitted by all livestock facilities that meet the definition of a state confined animal feeding operation or a federal concentrated animal feeding operation (commonly referred to as a CAFO). The application satisfies these facilities' obligation under the law to apply for a national pollution discharge elimination system (NPDES) permit, which is called the Oregon CAFO General Permit.
The permit regulates the operation of CAFOs to assure compliance with state and federal water quality standards. |
