Description: |
A Directly Supervised Public Pesticide Trainee License is required of individuals employed by a public agency who are applying pesticides under the direct supervision of a properly licensed public pesticide applicator (supervising applicator).
Direct supervision means that:- The supervising applicator has assured that the individual possesses sufficient knowledge to apply the pesticide safely and according to label and any other directions.
- The individual is applying the pesticide under the instructions of the supervising applicator.
- The supervising applicator is reasonably available to the individual for any needed consultation or assistance in performing the application, even if the supervising applicator is not physically present at the site of application (ie: by cell phone or radio contact).

- Original license fee (annual): $50 base (includes first major category), $7.50 additional major category fee, $12.50 additional major category after licensed.
- Renewal (annual): $50 base (includes first major category), $7.50 additional major category fee, $12.50 additional major category after licensed.
- Re-examination: $5 + testing fee.
