Description: |
An Exotic Animal Facility Permit is required of any person keeping as a pet, cats not indigenous to Oregon (except domestic cats), nonhuman primates, any bear (except black bear), purebred wolves, and any non-wolf dog not indigenous to Oregon (except domestic dogs).

Initial:$300 for Class 1 felines, Class 1 primates and bears $100 for Class 2 felines, Class 2 primates, and Class 1 canines $50 for Class 3 felines, Class 3 primates, and Class 2 canines Renewal fees:$100 for Class 1 felines, Class 1 primates, and bears $25 for Class 2 & 3 felines, Class 2 & 3 primates, and Class 1 & 2 canines Classification descriptions found in OAR 603-011; 0710(1) for felines, 0720(1) for non-human primates, and 0727(1) for wolves & other exotic canines. |

- Before acquiring the animal(s) the applicant must apply to the Department of Agriculture for issuance of permit by submitting an application and appropriate fee.
- The department will perform an inspection of the facility.
