NEW: EPA Region 8 is soliciting proposals for the FY09 Wetland Program Development Grant (WPDG) competition .
Some of the most significant work accomplished in the realm of environmental protection is completed at the state and local level. To facilitate and support those efforts, the EPA provides financial assistance grants to qualified applicants on subjects ranging from solid waste to environmental education.
