The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department's (OPRD) 2009 Go Click! photo contest has ended, and now everyone is invited to help pick the winners.

Public judging will begin Aug. 5 and continue through Aug. 12 on Flickr.com(http://www.flickr.com/photos/orstateparks/). Judges will have the option of submitting their top three choices in online comments or naming their selections in e-mails to go.click@state.or.us.

The chosen photos, which will be announced Aug. 26, will include a representative for each month of the year on a 2011 state park calendar. OPRD also is awarding a free state park camping experience as the grand prize and free 24-month day-use passes to two runners-up.

As in the other two years of the contest, OPRD will display the 12 finalists at the Oregon State Fair Aug. 28-Sept. 7. The exhibit will be in Cascade Hall.

The winning 2007 Go Click! photos appeared in a 2008 state parks calendar. The top 12 picks in the 2008 contest will be shown in a special 2010 online calendar on the OPRD website beginning Sept. 15, 2009.

Past Go Click! grand prize winners were Patricia Davidson of Coos Bay in 2007 and Alan Hirschmugl of Gresham in 2008.
