Jacksonville Re-Entry Center Re-Opens
Mayor John Peyton, Sheriff John Rutherford, Florida Department of Corrections (FDOC) Secretary Walter McNeil and other community leaders joined for a ceremony to celebrate the re-opening of the Jacksonville Re-Entry Center (JREC).  

Funded by The Jacksonville Journey and operated by the JSO in partnership with the FDOC and numerous community-based partners, the JREC serves as the "portal of entry" to Duval County ex-offenders rejoining the community.  Clients will be case-managed and provided with access to services and opportunities that will help them transition successfully into the community.
