Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center Parking

The Udvar-Hazy Center’s parking lot can accommodate 2,000 vehicles. Daily parking is available for $15. There is also free parking for up to 40 buses. There are no free drop-offs or pick-ups at the Center's entrance.

The parking fee is to help pay down the debt incurred in building the Udvar-Hazy Center and to pay for continued construction projects. Although the ongoing operations and programs of the Center are supported by tax dollars, its remaining costs from construction must be covered entirely by donations and parking and retail revenues consistent with the original authorizing legislation that no federal funds be used for its construction.

Eventually, once the construction costs have been fully paid, parking and retail revenues will support the Center's educational and public programs, artifact collections and care, and exhibitions.

To accommodate frequent visitors, the National Air and Space Museum offers a parking pass that is good for six entries to the Udvar-Hazy Center parking lot.

Note: Only two-axle vehicles are eligible.
