Where EVERYDAY Is Veterans Day!
ODVA Outreach
State Reaches Out to Veterans
State Reaches Out to Veterans
Providing a Hand Up!

In an effort to connect veterans to their benefits, every State of Oregon webpage now will contain a direct link to the Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs (ODVA) where veterans, their dependents and survivors can request information about veteran benefits.

The link – a red, white and blue ODVA button – will bring the user to a form on the ODVA website that can be filled out and submitted. Once submitted, ODVA will either respond personally or have the veterans local county veterans service officer respond to their inquiry.

There are approximately 350,000 veterans in Oregon; however, only 80,000 are receiving any type of veteran benefit. The goal is to reach out to those veterans who may not know they may be entitled to benefits. If you are one of those veterans, scroll down to the bottom of this webpage and click the ODVA link!
