Fayette Heritage Day

Saturday
August 8, 2009
11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fayette Historic Townsite, Garden

Children enjoy participating in a three-legged race at Fayette Historic Townsite. Experience life in the late 19th century in one of Michigan's most picturesque settings.

Children can run in the sack and three-legged races, try their hand at lawn croquet and play with reproduction 19th-century toys. Everyone will enjoy 19th-century music and crafts.

Be sure to join in the parade to Fayette's original baseball field before taking in the national pastime, 1880s style! Don't miss the tasty fare at the food tent and the pie social.

This event is free of charge. For more information, please send us an e-mail or telephone (906) 644-2603; TDD (517) 373-1592.

Fayette Historic Townsite—part of the Michigan Historical Museum System—is located within Fayette Historic State Park; a Michigan State Parks motor-vehicle permit is required for park entry. Here's more information about how to find Fayette.
