NEWS RELEASE IMAGE USE POLICY
The images on this site are provided to media representatives
for purposes of news coverage only. All other uses are prohibited.
The National Air and Space Museum's granting of access to this site
and the imagery contained on it does not imply unlimited use permissions
nor any release of copyright restrictions. Images are provided for
one-time, press related use only. Long-term use or use of images in
publications, CD-ROMs, Web sites (other than online articles), and
any other non press related, for-profit use is prohibited.
If images are to be used on a press Web site, their use must be of
finite term (i.e. images may not remain online indefinitely). Images
shall not be displayed online in the high resolution format provided
on this site, but must be reduced to screen resolution (72 dpi) and
may not display larger than 640 pixels on one side. Digital images
may not be redistributed from registered user to other parties.
Appropriate image credits for each image should be used, when available.
The National Air and Space Museum Office of Communications reserves
the right to withhold access to images if false representation is
suspected or there are questions about intended usage.
The National Air and Space Museum is not responsible for any errors
created in or damage to the materials as a result of their use. All
materials on the NASM web site are provided "as is" with
no warranties of any kind.
