Welcome to Arizona Workforce Informer, a product of the Arizona Department of Commerce, Research Administration.
Previously part of the Department of Economic Security, both Arizona Workforce Informer and Research Administration moved to Commerce in December 2007 to provide more efficient research data and information to Arizona communities, businesses, planners, lawmakers, economists and others.
Arizona Workforce Informer provides a wide variety of state, region and local labor market, demographic and economic data, including: employment statistics, occupation and industry estimates and projections, wage and price indices, and population/demographic statistics.

Arizona Minimum Wage Will Rise to $7.25 an Hour in 2009 |
Arizona's minimum wage will increase 35 cents to $7.25 an hour, effective Jan. 1, 2009. The state's minimum wage law, which went into effect in January 2007, requires the minimum wage be adjusted each January based on the over-the-year change in the U.S. All-Urban Consumer Price Index (CPI-U) for August of the previous year. 9/25/2008 read more... |
