Hemophilia Services

A statewide network of centers has been established in New Jersey to provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment/management, patient/family education, and psychosocial counseling for children and adults with hemophilia or other disorders of bleeding or coagulation. Related services are also available or can be coordinated for their family members.

A health insurance program for persons with hemophilia is administered by The Hemophilia Association of New Jersey through partial grant funding from the Department of Health and Senior Services. Children and adults may be eligible for the insurance program if they are on home care which is coordinated through one of the hemophilia treatment centers. Specific inquires regarding eligibility or the application process should be directed to Ms. Julie Frenkel, Hemophilia Association of New Jersey, 197 Rte. 18 South, East Brunswick, NJ 08816 (732) 249-6000.
