Welcome to the Enterprise Business Continuity Planning Web site
The Enterprise Business Continuity Planning (BCP) program will be eliminated after June 30, 2009. This website will be maintained for limited time to give agency BCP coordinators access to the resources, forms, templates, and guidance documents contained on the site.

The Enterprise BCP program worked to ensure that in the event of an emergency state government remains stable, responsive and operational. The Enterprise BCP program supported and guided state agencies as they jointly developed business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Business continuity plans include the people and processes involved in getting agencies back to full operations in the event of a major incident.

Agencies and boards in Oregon are required to develop business continuity plans. Business continuity planning is the process of preparing for possible disasters. Organizations (agencies, communities, businesses, etc.) develop business continuity plans (BCP's) to describe procedures that will be followed in case a disruption occurs. The goal is to help organizations restore critical services as quickly as possible.

H1N1 Influenza Planning
Pandemic flu planning has been always been a component of business continuity planning but the current situation has brought this issue to the forefront of our planning efforts. The current outbreak of the H1N1 influenza virus has spurred planning efforts across the state.
