2009 NIMS Compliance Objectives now available in NIMSCAST
The National Integration Center (NIC) Incident Management Systems Integration Division has completed its integration
of the 2009 NIMS Compliance Objectives into the NIMS Compliance Assistance Support Tool (NIMSCAST).
The Compliance Objectives remain the same as those collected in 2008, users need to review, update as appropriate and
save their responses to each compliance objective. Once complete you will need to "Submit for Rollup" to record your
jurisdiction's responses.
All established accounts, user permissions and/or rolled-up assessments that
were previously entered in the NIMSCAST have been maintained.
As of June 20, 2008 the NIMSCAST will no longer be collecting responses to the 2005-2006 NIMCAST assessments, data entered
into the system will still be available for review via the reporting functions. Access to the ability to change 2007/2008
NIMSCAST data will also be restricted on a State by State basis.
