If you are looking for information regarding
wildland fuels reduction, private land fire
prevention restrictions, small woodland or
industrial landowner forest management
within the Central Oregon area,
you’ve come to the right place.
 
The Central Oregon District of the Oregon
Department of Forestry is one of 14 districts
across the state of Oregon.  The district
spans 11 counties, employs permanent
and seasonal personnel, and offers many
services to the public including wildfire protection
on 2.3 million acres of private forestlands.
 
The district headquarters are located in Prineville Oregon.  Due to the size of the district it has been split into three units; those headquarters are in John Day, Prineville and The Dalles.  Please see the contact information below for district employees or click on the unit link to view unit employees and programs they manage.
