Reportable Diseases for Laboratories and Health Care Providers

The list below identifies the specific diseases laboratories and health care providers are required to isolate or characterize and report in accordance with NH Statutes.   Required report timeframes range from immediately to 24-72 hours.  Gastrointestinal illness in food handlers, child care workers or direct care health workers must be reported immediately.  Suspected outbreaks of illnesses must also be reported immediately.
