Advisory Council
The Oregon Lifespan Respite Care Council serves in an advisory capacity to the department in developing and promoting existing statewide coordination of respite care services across the lifespan in Oregon. Members are appointed by DHS Director to assist with program goals and benchmarks, guided by these outcomes: increase access to respite care services, increase resources for program funding and respite provider training, improve the quality of respite care services, increase public awareness, and increase community involvement.
