The Report Card - Survey of the States: Economic, Personal Finance, and Entrepreneurship Education in Our Nation's Schools in 2007, was released by the Council for Economic Education on June 13, 2007 during an online press conference.
Excellence in Economic Education
The Council for Economic Education has been granted the Excellence in Economic Education (EEE) Act award by the U.S. Department of Education for the fourth year of the program. The EEE award will infuse approximately $1.475 million, plus matching dollars, into state and local organizations dedicated to raising the level of competence in economic and financial literacy.
The Council for Economic Education/National Association of Economic Educators/Global Association of Teachers of Economics Annual Conference will be held October 7-10, 2009, in the nation’s capital at the Hyatt Regency Washington Capitol Hill, Washington, DC. This year’s conference hosted by the Council for Economic Education also celebrates the Council’s 60th Anniversary year.The Global Association of Teachers of Economics (GATE) is a national and international membership organization sponsored by NCEE exclusively for K-12 teachers and others.
