In commemoration of Hawai`i's 50th anniversary of statehood, a tea ceremony for world peace was held at the Hawai`i State Capitol. The ceremony was conducted by Great Grand Tea Master Genshitsu Sen and organized by the Urasenke Foundation of Hawai`i, a school devoted to the Japanese tea ceremony.
