Health Benefit Plan Rate FilingsOregon law requires the Department of Consumer and Business Services to approve rates for individual, small employer group and portability health benefit plans, and to post requests for rate changes on its Web site. These rate requests include a Rate Filing Summary that highlights the reasons an insurer wants a rate change. Other documents are filed to justify these requests and to show that an insurer's health plan meets all Oregon benefit requirements. In addition to viewing rate proposals, consumers may view the department's decision in each case. Rate filings for these types of plans are available here:
