The Child Care Health Consultation Program

This program began in March 2003 and currently provides health consultation services through local programs in five demographically and geographically diverse Oregon counties. The program's mission is to improve the health and safety of children participating in child care within Oregon. "Health" is defined broadly to includes physical, social, emotional, and developmental aspects of a child's well-being.

Publications
Oregon Child Care Health & Safety Handbook
The Oregon Child Care Health & Safety Handbook was created as a training handbook and reference for child care providers regarding health considerations for children who are in care. The Handbook is given to child care providers who participate in the Health & Safety Training offered through the local Child Care Resource and Referrals around the state.
