Next Major Milestones:
Note: DOE Planned population reduced by 10,704 to 100,796 due to contractor workforce reductions at DOE sites and DOE site closures
DOE/NNSA Naval Reactors Office is not using the USAccess vehicle. DOE/NNSA Naval Reactors Office has a population of 7,860 that is included in the DOE population of 100,790. Background investigations for DOE/NNSA Naval Reactors Office have been completed. Card issuance for DOE/NNSA Naval Reactors has not started.
Planned population does not include workforce additions due to ARRA.
7/31/2009 - Issuance of cards to 100% of Planned Population (92,930 out of 92,930)**

8/31/2009 - Completion of consolidated DOE OMB 300 for HSPD-12 investments
9/30/2009 - Complete adjudication or verification of background investigations for all employees and contractors
9/30/2009 - Issuing PIV credentials to all new employees and contractors as part of the boarding process
12/31/2009 - Finalize development of Energy Complex-wide Identity Management System enhancements
12/31/2012 - Complete integration of PIV credentials with physical access systems
12/31/2012 - Complete integration of PIV credentials with DOE EITS logical access systems
