$70,179 JERSEY CASH 5 TICKET SOLD IN BURLINGTON COUNTY
TRENTON, NJ – (December 17, 2008) – A winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket worth $70,179 was sold at 7-11 #10954, located at 1613 Columbus Road in Burlington Township, Burlington County for the Tuesday, December 16 drawing.
Acting Executive Director William T. Jourdain said the winning ticket was the only one sold for Tuesday's drawing that matched all five numbers drawn. The winning numbers were: 02, 05, 06, 13 and 17.
“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at 7-11 #10954 ,” said Jourdain. “For selling this ticket, they will receive a bonus check for $750. Overnight, they have become yet another ‘lucky location' for a very fortunate winner.”
Jourdain also noted that 3 ,217 other players won $60,809 in cash prizes in the Tuesday drawing. For correctly picking four numbers, 81 players won cash prizes of $441.00 each, and for correctly matching three numbers, 3,136 players won $8.00 each.
Jersey Cash 5 is among the Lottery's more popular games with an average jackpot of $300,000. Sales from Jersey Cash 5 last year were just under $126 million.
