$148,211 JERSEY CASH 5 TICKET SOLD IN UNION COUNTY
TRENTON, NJ – (November 25, 2008) – A winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket worth $148,211 was sold at Grand Avenue Grocery & Deli, located at 449 West Grand Avenue in Rahway, Union County for the Monday, November 24 drawing.
Acting Executive Director William T. Jourdain said the winning ticket was the only one sold for Monday's drawing that matched all five numbers drawn. The winning numbers were: 03, 04, 19, 37 and 38.
“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Grand Avenue Grocery & Deli ,” said Jourdain. “For selling this ticket, they will receive a bonus check for $750. Overnight, they have become yet another ‘lucky location' for a very fortunate winner.”
Jourdain also noted that 3 ,012 other players won $79,248 in cash prizes in the Monday drawing. For correctly picking four numbers, 84 players won cash prizes of $560.00 each, and for correctly matching three numbers, 2,928 players won $11.00 each.
Jersey Cash 5 is among the Lottery's more popular games with an average jackpot of $300,000. Sales from Jersey Cash 5 last year were just under $126 million.
