$79,764 JERSEY CASH 5 TICKET SOLD IN PASSAIC COUNTY
TRENTON, NJ – (November 10, 2008) – A winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket worth $79,764 was sold at Liquor King, located at 1030 Main Avenue in Clifton, Passaic County for the Friday, November 7 drawing.
Acting Executive Director William T. Jourdain said the winning ticket was the only one sold for Friday's drawing that matched all five numbers drawn. The winning numbers were: 01, 04, 09, 16 and 40.
“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Liquor King ,” said Jourdain. “For selling this ticket, they will receive a bonus check for $750. Overnight, they have become yet another ‘lucky location' for a very fortunate winner.”
Jourdain also noted that 2 ,985 other players won $69,620 in cash prizes in the Friday drawing. For correctly picking four numbers, 82 players won cash prizes of $495.00 each, and for correctly matching three numbers, 2,903 players won $10.00 each.
Jersey Cash 5 is among the Lottery's more popular games with an average jackpot of $300,000. Sales from Jersey Cash 5 last year were just under $126 million.
