The New Hampshire Department of Transportation Research Section is located in the Bureau of Materials & Research. Our mission is to improve the transportation system and services provided to the State of New Hampshire through research and innovation, and to facilitate the implementation and delivery of beneficial technologies. The Research office is also active in product evaluations and is responsible for publishing and maintaining the NHDOT Qualified Products List.

What's YOUR problem?
The Research Section continually seeks to identify transportation-related problems in need of a research solution. This is your opportunity to submit an idea(s) for a new research project! Problem statements may address a need unique to New Hampshire, or could be appropriate for one of the regional or national pooled-fund programs in which the Department participates, such as the New England Transportation Consortium (NETC), National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP), or others. more …
