Contact Us
One of the best ways we've learned to be effective in maintaining safety is through building relationships with our ultimate customer, the American public. PHMSA has come a long way since the turn of the century to ensure the public remains aware of the pipeline infrastructure and hazardous materials transportation within their communities and how we can all work together to ensure safety performance. Need to speak to someone? Use our Feedback Form to request information and make comments.
To develop and enhance these relationships, PHMSA's Community Assistance and Technical Services (CATS) Team for pipeline safety and Hazardous Materials Safety Assistance Team (HMSAT) routinely reaches out to communities to facilitate and provide clear communications to the public, businesses, and state and local officials to better understand risks and improve environmental protection.
PHMSA's CATS and HMSAT representatives are located within each of our five geographic regional locations. To contact the CATS or HMSAT representative for your community please refer to the list below.
