Antenna Patterns On-line

NSMA Electronic Transfer of Antenna Pattern Data

The antenna patterns which we have on-line have been supplied to the Commission in the NSMA standard format and the manufacturers have given us permission to place them on the World Wide Web. If there are any other manufacturers of antennas, who wish to supply the Commission their NSMA formatted antenna patterns, I will place the information on the Web for them as a public service.

If you which to submit antenna patterns please, E-mail the following to OETINFO oetinfo@fcc.gov

  • NSMA pattern files in a PKZipped package ready for downloading
  • A bitmap of your company's logo (Preferably .gif or .jpeg)
  • brief page about your company with an engineering contact. (Preferably HTML)

I would like to note that even though the NSMA standard is primarily used for point to point communication antennas. The standard is robust enough to digitize any antenna pattern. Even omnidirectional and sector antennas could use this format for electronic transfer of antenna pattern data.
