This report was compiled at the request of the Governor's office and provides a comprehensive look at Oregon's safety net system. The report includes a small number of uniform data points from across the core safety net spectrum (Federally Qualified Health Centers, Isolated Rural Health Facilities, School-based Health Centers and Community Sponsored Clinics). It describes what the safety net is, where core safety net providers are located and why the safety net is a critical part of the broader health care delivery system. It further contains the Safety Net Advisory Council's recommendations to the Oregon Health Fund Board and its policy priorities moving forward.
