Youth Art Project
Youth Art on Loan
Native American Culture painting
The Oregon Youth Authority has a unique opportunity available for you: Youth Art on Loan.  Many visitors and staff who have joined us at our facilities have commented on the depth and beauty of the artwork OYA youth have created.

In school or vocational programs, OYA youth produce paintings, masks, woodwork, metalwork, sculpture, and other works.  In their own way, they are hoping to give back to Oregonians by loaning these works out for display.  They would like to share their culture and their personal messages, even for just a few weeks.

If you are interested in this project, or have a special event that would benefit by having youth art on display, you may contact:

Amanda Lowe-Davies
Email: Amanda.LoweDavies@oya.state.or.us
Phone: 503-378-6555

OYA would like to acknowledge the leadership and support of Peggy Ross, Director of the Oregon Affirmative Action Office, and Katherine Manglona, Project Manager.  Their support in promoting this effort has been tremendous.  OYA youth and staff thank you for your help.
