Minimum Qualifications:

Requires graduation from high school or GED. Must successfully complete an approved direct training technician program within the probationary period. Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.

If unable to find qualified applicants, will consider underfilling the position as a Direct Training Assistant, which requires demonstrated skills in providing personal care to individuals.

Summary of Work:

Will work in a residential living/training facility for developmentally disabled individuals with special emphasis in caring for individuals with traumatic brain injuries, challenging behaviors, sex offenses, dual sensory impairment and dual diagnosis. Individuals are provided with specialized training in the areas of work, leisure, social skills and other life skills in order to achieve and master everyday independent living.
