Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree with curriculum in a secretarial/clerical/office administration or three years of work related experience. 
  • Demonstrated experience in scheduling, the preparation of correspondence and reports, and transcription
  • Proven written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and harmonious working relationships

Preferred

  • Experience developing executive-level meeting minutes.

Summary of Work:

Some of the duties to include:

  • Provide secretarial support to the State Board of Higher Education (SBHE), SBHE Subcommittees and the Chancellor’s Cabinet, including prepare meeting agendas and minutes, schedule meetings, conference calls, etc.; and
  • Provide secretarial assistance to the NDUS Office staff as needed
